This is what we had to eat last Saturday! Fresh bacon fried and a perty tomato equals A mighty fine BLT!! Yes we drink out of Mason jars too! I am ashamed to say I had never made a Banana pudding until last Saturday. It turned out really good. Anyone who has spent any time around me knows that I love good food! I love to cook it too. I think I learned from my Mama that there is a certain gratification in preparing a good meal or baking something from scratch. So many women my age have lost that standard in the world of fast food. My Mama taught me to always eat at the table. There is something to be said about a family who eats a home cooked meal together at their table. What a blessing!

I've just had breakfast with the girls and now I'm hungry all over again! The pudding looks beautiful. :)

I agree with your mama - there is gratification in cooking for my family as well as eating together with them.

Hi Tina, Thanks for posting on my blog! The beach I am going to is TYBEE.... Close to Savannah GA. Where in Georgia do you live?Your banana pudding looks like one Paula Dean would make. Do you know about her? She has a restaurant in Savannah. My daughter went there and the line was a mile long. I have one of her cook books and love her southern cooking.
I love reading your blog. You remind me of my daughter with all the animals. She lives on a farm in Knoxville.
Keep posting and I will keep reading!

Hi to a fellow Georgian!

I love your blog - found it through a comment you left somewhere (I can't remember where exactly!)!;)

Your lunch looks yummy - especially the banana pudding! I've never made one myself. It looks to intimidating!

Oh I love Paula Deen but I have not been to her restaurant yet. I am waiting for my Mama to come visit and then we are going. YUM. Terri the pudding is easy..really!
