HUMMERS

I took these pictures of the male that dominates this feeder on my porch. He occasionally allows a female to drink & I was able to get a picture of her too. The male sits on the same pine tree branch 35 feet directly behind the feeder. He dive bombs any other visitors & DOES NOT allow them to drink. They have to use the feeder way at the other end of the porch.

The pictures are so clear they look like vases. I think hummingbirds. they are so small, so busy, and so beautiful!

Great pictures. I love the hear them flutter (I guess that is what it is called LOL) They come up close but they are too fast to get a picture. Looks like you were ready for them.

Look at the detail on that hummer! You took some excellent photos, Tina! They are so entertaining. We have the same kind of bickering at our feeders, only it's not only the hummingbirds with each other, it is the hummers with the bees too!! Do you have that problem?

Great photos! We get very few hummingbirds around here. Hey, hows the duck doing? (I just caught up on posts) Is it still hanging around?
