I tried to write an Easter post several times but I just couldn't. Too much to express! I love Easter & I love reading the scripture that tells about Jesus' sacrifice for me. So let me ask yall a question. When you read scripture do you frequently imagine yourself back in those days...like what would you do or how you would act if you were there when Jesus was crucified? I think about things like that all the time when I read the Bible. Another thing I imagine is how would that particular event take place now in this day & time.

"I was watching Fox news Friday & heard that they killed a man over in Jerusalem. They nailed the fella to a giant cross & let him hang there until he died. A reporter was doing interviews with folks over there & half of the people said this guy named JESUS was crazy, that he was demon possessed and wanted to be the President of their country...they said he wanted to be the ruler over the entire world! Can you believe that? Then the reporter was talking to some other people that said this JESUS fella was a really good man...perfect of a matter of fact & that he was sent by GOD!! Well I dont know what to think! Did any of yall hear that story on the news?"

So sometimes I think about things like that. I dont know why. My husband does not go to church with me. When I'm going to the sun rise service I always tell Danny that I'm going to see the stone rolled away. One year Danny asked me did I see Jesus. I told him that when I got to the grave yard that JESUS' body was missing & while I was calling the police JESUS showed up & told me to go home & tell Danny that HE will see him in a minute so that Danny could stick his fingers in the holes in HIS hands!

I love Easter, I love Good Friday! I guess what I'm trying to say is that the Bible is personal to me. The cross was personal to me. JESUS is personal to me. I love HIM & I am forever in debt to HIM but He said I dont owe a thing!
"He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Romans 4:25"

I am glad the Word was given to the Gentiles when the Jews rejected Jesus. If his own had not rejected Him, He might not be ours.
He knew His fate before it came and He knows mine. Ingrid sang "He's got the whole world in his hands" and it is true.
His will be done.

Tina Leigh,
Yes, He is personal to me because He knew me and loved me even before I was born.

I just checked my blog again and tapped the url and it opened up. I don't know why you are unable to open it. Try again.........
