Aint it funny how something so simple can remind you of the Creator? I have been listening to Dr. David Jeremiah on the radio in the mornings. He has been doing a study of King David for the past few weeks. It has been a while since I thought much of David but listening to Dr. Jeremiah has sparked my interest agian. What a remarkable human being. I am so thankful God made sure that David's life was recorded for us. David's life was so full of real life stuff we go through now. Death, friendship, love, depression, and fear. Since I quit teaching Sunday school I have found that I have a hole. Even though I read my Bible daily & read a devotional...it is not enough after feeding on HIS WORD daily in preparation for Sunday School. I have found a study by Beth Moore on King David. I read her book called "A Heart Like His" a few years ago but I did not do the study she had to go with the book. The book was great. She has a new study out on David...I have it ordered & I'm excited about getting to know David again. There is nothing more rewarding than studying the Bible. I'm hungry...I need some SPIRIT FOOD!!

I love your pictures especially the leaf. It just looks so much like fall. Enjoy your study of David.
Know what you mean, for some reason I have been having a hard time posting also.
I deleted my first post. Will you take the Beth Moore study on line? Those pictures are so pretty! Did you take them?
I hope you enjoy your study. The girls want to do the young people's version of King David while I do the adult version. You starting yours has me excited so maybe I'll pick up the studies this week. :)
I know what you mean by needing to study and be feed spiritually. I need that in my life and you've got me thinking about what I'd like to study (a study of David does sound interest).
Thanks for the encouragement.

Oh Tina, most of us are starved spiritually. However, we refuse to recognize the the hunger pains for what they are. We keep trying to satisfy them with something else. May we all feast on the Word.
