What is it about the moon that mesmerizes us? Mama posted a picture of the full moon a few weeks ago & Flora posted one this week. I love the moon, always have since I was a child. The next couple of moons will be harvest moons. Big shiny moons! Mama told me that it is always colder on a full moon. Oh I cant wait! Danny & I like to ride the rhino or the golf cart on a full moon. There's just nothing like it!! Now how in the world can anyone look at the moon & NOT know or believe there is a God. "Praise Him, sun and moon, praise Him all you shining stars!" Psalms 148:3

I took these two pictures last month when the moon was waxing. One was with the flash on & one with it off. Really makes a difference with that flash!

I like the moon pictures, I like the one with the blue background the best but he looks lonely. When I was a kid I use to want to go sit on the moon late at night.

Tina, I can't believe you took those pictures. You really have a great camera! I'd like one for Christmas! Just kidding. lol

No really, that's a great idea dot cause if tina is like us we NEVER know what to get our parents for Christmas cause they have everything they need so we usually end up buying them gift certificates to their favorite restaurants. This year my dad wants a computer so Jerry and Michael are building him one, they built my mom one last year and she loves it but just plays games, doesn't get online at all. It is much easier when your parents will tell you something they want.

the moon has a large effect on the earth, ocean tides and seasons. the word luntic comes from the word moon.
