Last Friday Mama and I went to Savannah for a shopping and eating day. This is the famous River street which is full of unique eating places and gift shops. The gift shops are high priced and to tell you the truth, Mama and I didn't find a thing we wanted to buy. There are several candy shops...I liked them....but I was very good and only took the samples that were given out to the passers by! As I get older I have found what I am made of and what I am not. I AINT NO CITY GIRL!! I don't like waiting to cross the street and in Savannah...but you have to wait or ELSE!!. There are people all over the place and it's not just tourists..it's business folks that live and work there. Noisy!! It just aint for me. When I was in my 20's I would have enjoyed this but not now!!
I enjoyed being with Mama but there aint nothing for me in Savannah, Georgia! Well maybe an Olive Garden and a Krispy Kreme!!

I love the pictures...I have always wanted to go to Savannah...Scott says we will go soon....Angie from Carloina Rags lives close to Savannah and I told her we would have to have a southern brunch when I come you will have to join us...that would be cool.

I loved the River Street and the Savannah Candy Kitchen. It's a nice place to visit, but I don't want to live there either. Alto, I would like to live at Tybee Island.

patsy I don't know if tina and dot saw Scarlet but last time I was in Savannah I ran into her. I got her autograph and gave her a ride back to Atlanta.
