AND THEN IT RAINED........

Over 2 1/2 inches today! The pond is running out into the woods, the yard is full, and the roads are a mess. It makes for great sleeping weather...glad I'm on night shift!!

The birds are hitting the feeders pretty good.

We are planning a fishing trip to Florida for next month. I am ready to go!!

I planted a pot of Paper Whites that I hope will bring a touch of early Spring to these dreary Winter days.

So what is going on in your neck of the woods?

What's going on? Absolutely beautiful weather! High 76 and lots of sunshine and birds singing. No complaining here.

We have a lot of yuckiness. But I love the sound of rain. I love the smell of it on a hot summer day. I just don't like it raining when it is 25 degress an windy.

We have had such bad fog. Even during the day it is pure fog at 2 in the afternoon. It is pretty dreary. I am ready for spring.

It is not raining today - yet. It is really cloudy and dark so I am sure some is on the way. Hope I'm wrong.

Hope you're keeping dry. Florida sounds good right now!

We had 2 3/4" in our rain gauge. It was a gully washer, wasn't it?! I wish the sun would come out now. [sigh]

Gorgeous photo of the male cardinal! I love to watch the birdies. They're more entertaining than what's on the TV. :)
