SHOW ME THE MONEY......I couldn't resist taking this little fella's picture after he trusted me enough to show me his money bag. He lives on my back porch among my Boston ferns. I think he is beautiful. My husband thinks I am weird. Maybe it is a childhood thing. I remember when I was a little girl, my Mama asked me if I wanted to see a lizard's money bag. I didn't think she was weird, I thought she was crazy!
In a letter Paul wrote to his son Timothy, he explained that the love of money was a root to many kinds of evils. Money is a gift from God. It is our obsession with money that Paul rebuked.
When I receive my paycheck, I can not help but thank God for it. HE allowed me to have a job and good health to work. I give HIM back the 10% he asked of me and that is easy enough. It is the other 90% that I am sometimes a poor steward of. I hope your money is a blessing and not a root to any evils.
