Happy Homemaker Monday
I haven't blogged in so long. I have debated if I should try again or not. But for now...
The Weather:::
It is HOT & the humidity is at 98%! We got a 1/2 an inch of rain yesterday and expecting more today. We need it.
On my reading pile:::
Six Hours One Friday by Max Lucado
Dare to Discipline by James Dobson
On my tv:::
Longmire
Falling Skies
Mountain Men (Im on the last episode)
On the menu for this week:::
I dont have a definitive menu yet but I am making a trip to my butcher Wednesday to get some fresh pork sausage, bacon and riblets. I spent the afternoon yesterday going through my recipes...weeding them out. So hopefully some good cooking is a comin!
On my to do list:::
Which to do list? The imaginary one that just gets things added on & never taken off, OR the one that is just down right necessity?
Oh Necessity...
Washing & hanging out clothes
Vacuum & mop the kitchen & living room.
Chase kids
Feed kids
Cook supper
Sounds like I should have an easy day, huh...NOT!!!
What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
I dont think there will ever be anything in this
catagory for me...
Homemaking Tips:::
TILEX...this is the best stuff man created! It is a bleach cleaning product but is wonderful! I use it on my ceramic sinks, bathtubs, toilets, shower, swimming pool, on my ceramic tile, porch railings, outdoor furniture...the list goes on & on. I love it!
Looking around the house:::
Grandson is playing with a book on the floor...evidence of his playing is ALL around, (hence the need for cleaning the floors!). The house is dim this morning..it is over-cast outside. There is a mess of tomatoes on the counter that need to be processed.
From the camera:::
I'm dreaming of all things Fall during these dog days!
On my prayer list:::
A family situation that is requiring a lot of patience and forgiveness.
Family memeber recovering from back surgery.
Hospitalization of a a family memeber yesterday.
Unspokens
Bible verse, Devotional:::
My parents-n-law gave me a "Streams in the Dessert". It always has something to hit home, to encourage, to uplift.
Go over to Sandra's for more Happy Homemaker Monday.

With this post i see a lot or ORGAIZATION THINKING..when I make lists I can almost operate w/o the list..ther's the mental one on file..just continueto soak up God's beautiful creation AROUND YOU and accept His gift of peace and serenity ..now go forth and CONQUER [ mmm how's that word spelled lol] jh
oooooooomy ..spelling/mis fires on the keyboard..can we agree not to critique our 'comments' jh
Hi Tina. Found you on my follower list. Welcome to Locus Lane Farm at One Simple Farmgirl. As you are in the south with hot humid conditions, I am in the north in Canada with hot humid condition but little in the way of rain. I love this post. You are such an organized thinker, such a wonderful example for those of us that are all over the place, like a smashed bug on the window. Splat! I feel organized but seven kids will tell me otherwise! Enjoy your day.
I feel for you with the heat and humidity. Our summers are often like that, but this summer has been beautiful. Your house is gorgeous, post lots of pictures!
Hi Tina! the humid heat is awful down here - I just make my way from the car to the front door to the house. The exact opposite from extreme cold - no fun outside! Our lists look a bit similar - my lovely little granddaughter leaves "evidence" that she loves to play with any and every thing! We too have family in need of prayers.
